Chapter 17

October 9th-ish

You have leveled up.

I woke to find that I was tied to the ground and to the sound of combat and chimes once again going off in my head. I tried to move, only to find that my body was feeling like it was over-ripe with energy. Almost out of reflex I took the excess energy and used it as free Physical Attribute points. After the points were all added I tried to pull myself free, but I was bound by dense chains that seemed to be welded to the ground somehow.

It was about this time that I distinctly realized my shirt and pants were missing. In fact, I could feel the cold stone floor beneath me, but fortunately my dense layer of hair kept me from fully feeling the brunt of the cold directly.

I opened my eyes, and a dense green light filled the room. With the light female forms that were watching an impressive battle taking place outside with pyrotechnics and screams all turned towards me. As they turned it was like a sudden weight had been added to my body, forcing me down.

“Oh, he’s awakened.” A female voice called out, her tone sounding like a bad villain impression. Imagine a really hot girl trying to sound deep and sinister and that was the voice.

“Good, massster will be pleased.” A second equally bad villain impression.

“He’s strong, look at those eyes.” Yet a third called out. Her voice was only slightly choppy, of the three I think I liked her the best.

BOOM! KABOOM!

Explosions could be heard bursting not too far away. Their force enough to cause the ground to rumble and a form to fake fall onto me. I was of course tied to the ground; only now did I see that she smiled at me with large sharp teeth. I could also see that she was diseased, and not just the typical form of disease one might expect to see from a working-woman. No, she had a deep monstrous disease coursing through her that almost seemed to be sentient in a way.

Quickly, before anyone noticed she leaned in and opened her mouth over mine and began to draw in energy. Yet, my body was so accustomed to such an action that I automatically began pumping out waves of healing energy into her.

Cough. Cough. Gag!

The fiend sounded like she was choking.

“HOHHH.” She wheezed as she clutched her neck an international symbol that she was choking. The other two turned away from the raging battle outside to turn to their downed comrade.

“What happened?” One girl asked as she turned to pat her friend who was still choking.

As I watched I could see the intense flames of healing energy coursing through her body and tearing out the disease that had been ravaging her.

“You fed from him?” The second girl asked.

The chocking girl just nodded, before collapsing as her body seemed to go into shock from having the disease that had so fully bonded with her was now suddenly missing.

She was alive, but her body seemed to be at a loss for what to do for a second.
